Co-hosted by the Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and the China Association of International Trade, the 20th International Service Trade Forum was held at Shougang Park in Beijing on Sept 11.
The event drew nearly 200 participants, including officials from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, commerce officials from China, France, Hungary and Côte d'Ivoire, as well as industry and academic representatives.

About 200 representatives from UN body, government, industry and academia attend the forum.
At the forum, BISU President Ji Jinbiao, also deputy secretary of the CPC BISU Committee, highlighted that BISU has identified trade in services and cultural trade as priority areas of its disciplinary development since 2003, and has built up research, interdisciplinary talent training and think-tank work in the field.
The forum's signature "Two Decades, Twenty People" seminar gathered 20 Chinese scholars and industry leaders to discuss sectoral development, cultural and sports services, capacity expansion and quality improvement, and specialized service exports.

Participants of the forum pose for a group photo.
In addition, three reports — the "Annual Report on the Development of China's International Service Trade (2026)", the "Annual Report on the Development of China's International Cultural Trade (2026)" and the "Annual Report on the Development of Beijing's Cultural Trade (2026)" were released by BISU's research team in service and cultural trade on-site.
At the forum, Ji also signed multiple cooperation agreements with partners in Hainan, Zigong and Chengdu.
