The Beijing Institute for Industries Going Global was unveiled on Sept 9 during the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
Co-established by Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the institute will focus on integrating industry and education and providing think-tank support for enterprises expanding overseas.

The Beijing Institute for Industries Going Global is unveiled at CIFTIS.
BISU has built the institute by drawing on its distinctive multilingual strengths and pooling academic resources across disciplines including country and region studies, foreign-related legal affairs, international communication, business administration and applied economics.
Under a "1+1" model, the university has established the institute on campus and set up an off-campus specialized technology service company for overseas expansion.
Coordinating the university's academic and research resources, the institute focuses on four core tasks — empowering enterprises to expand overseas, deepening industry-education integration, cultivating professional talent, and translating research results into practice. It is designed to serve as a strategic think tank and a research and service platform for industries across Beijing as they go global.
