Beijing International Studies University (BISU) recently achieved remarkable success at the Capital University Student Entrepreneurship Competition finals.
Five projects from BISU stood out from hundreds of teams across the city, securing two second-place and three third-place awards. This marks the first time BISU has won multiple awards at this prestigious event, highlighting its innovative achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and multilingual integration.
This entrepreneurship competition focuses on the application of AI in industry, aiming to identify and nurture young innovators proficient in human-machine collaborative structure design and industry integration.
Unlike traditional competitions, it does not prioritize funding or team size as primary evaluation criteria. Instead, it emphasizes structural innovation, scenario adaptability, and governance capabilities in AI-driven industrial applications.
The projects from BISU that received awards demonstrate exceptional innovative strength. They include a digital memory system that uses AI to preserve cultural heritage and revitalize intangible cultural assets, a project dedicated to upgrading inbound tourism services, and another targeting the niche market of the anime and manga community.
These projects illustrate how BISU's "multilingual+" approach enhances innovation and entrepreneurship education, creating a virtuous cycle where innovative practices enrich talent cultivation.
Looking ahead, the university will continue to deepen reforms in innovation and entrepreneurship education, integrating it with professional and ideological education.
