
Ji Jinbiao, deputy secretary of the Beijing International Studies University (BISU) Committee and the university's president, led a delegation to China Unicom Beijing Branch on July 3, where they signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Ji expressed gratitude to China Unicom Beijing Branch for its long-standing support in BISU's development and congratulated the company on its achievements in building the capital's information infrastructure and providing public services.
Ji outlined BISU's overall situation and future development plans, emphasizing recent initiatives and successes in enhancing intrinsic development and deepening open integration. He highlighted that the university has distinct strengths in cultural and tourism integration, artificial intelligence, and international education, which align closely with China Unicom Beijing Branch's business strategies.
He expressed the hope that the agreement would serve as a starting point for deeper cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation, interdisciplinary collaboration, employment practices, industry expansion, resource sharing, and smart campus development.
Su Baohe, deputy secretary of the CPC China Unicom Beijing Branch Committee, welcomed Ji and his delegation.
Su introduced the company's basic information, business scope, and breakthroughs in areas like the 5G-Advanced deployment. He acknowledged BISU as a prominent institution in foreign languages and tourism management education, noting the complementary strengths and well-established foundation for collaboration between the two sides.
Su expressed that the agreement represents a strategic choice for future-oriented development, hoping both sides will deepen the partnership and explore new models of "industry-academia-research-application" integration to achieve fruitful results and contribute to the development of the capital and the nation.
The two sides will also prioritize the cooperation in talent cultivation, employment internships, joint establishment of key laboratories, and "AI+multilingual" projects, setting a new benchmark for university-enterprise cooperation in the capital.
