BISU signs agreement with China-Arab Cultural Publishing Center and LAS

At Sinolingua's 40th Anniversary Celebration and Strategic Launch on June 17, the China-Arab Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Research Center of Beijing International Studies University (BISU) signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with the China International Communication Group China-Arab Cultural Publishing Center and the Mission of the League of Arab States (LAS) in Beijing.

The Sinolingua's 40th Anniversary Celebration and Strategic Launch kicks off in Beijing on June 17.

Li Biyou, secretary of the CPC BISU Committee, congratulated Sinolingua on its 40th anniversary, recognizing the publisher's significant contributions in expanding communication channels with Arab countries and enhancing cross-cultural dialogue.

Li noted that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Arab countries, the signing of this agreement ushers in a new chapter.

He expressed that BISU's commitment to leveraging its unique strengths to promote mutual understanding and broaden exchanges, He added that this collaboration will serve as a hub for China-Arab cooperation, advancing the construction of a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era.

Ahmed Mustafa Fahmy Hafez, head of the LAS China representative office, and Jia Weiwei, vice-president of Sinolingua, praised BISU's contributions to China-Arab cultural exchanges and specialized talent training. They acknowledged that BISU will play an increasingly important role in fostering mutual understanding and promoting civilizational exchanges between China and Arab countries through this tripartite cooperation.
