The Albanian Ambassador to China, Riza Poda, visited Beijing International Studies University on June 1.

BISU representatives have exchanges with the delegation of the Albanian Embassy.

Ji welcomed Riza Poda and provided an overview of the university's Albanian language program, expressing gratitude for the embassy's long-term support in fostering educational cooperation between the university and Albania.

He highlighted the longstanding friendly relations between China and Albania, emphasizing how cultural and artistic exchanges have enhanced mutual understanding since the establishment of diplomatic ties.

Ji also expressed hope to enhance collaboration in student exchanges, study abroad programs, and the introduction of foreign experts, aiming to deepen cultural interactions and promote mutual understanding among the younger generation.

Riza Poda thanked BISU for its hospitality and praised its efforts to promote educational and cultural exchanges between Albania and China.

He provided insights into the current state of higher education in Albania and its international development, pointing out that education serves as a crucial pillar of the bilateral relationship built on mutual respect and trust.

Poda affirmed Albania's commitment to deepening cooperation with China in education and science, recognizing the university's Albanian language program as a bridge for people-to-people exchanges. He expressed hope for increased interaction between the university and leading Albanian institutions to give new momentum to tangible collaborative projects.
