BISU volunteers support international conference

At the recent Third High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development, Beijing International Studies University (BISU) distinguished itself as the largest contributor of volunteers for the event.

Themed "Action-Oriented: Building a Global Community of Development for All", the conference saw over 600 representatives from more than 140 countries, international, and regional organizations participating both online and offline.

BISU dispatched 15 student volunteers who served in the sections of guest liaison, airport logistics, the opening and closing ceremonies, sub-forum operations, and bilateral meetings.

Throughout the event, these volunteers demonstrated a strong sense of mission and responsibility, working efficiently and collaboratively. They utilized their fluent language skills to facilitate cross-cultural communication and ensured smooth and orderly proceedings with their professional competence. Their meticulous service showcased the spirit of Chinese youth and earned high praise from both domestic and international guests.

Their service reflects BISU's commitment to cultivating globally-minded talents and proactively support major national diplomatic events.

Since its establishment, the university has drawn on its strengths in foreign languages and international studies to provide high-quality staffing for high-level conferences and major diplomatic events. In doing so, it has guided students to broaden their international outlook, sharpen their global competence, and cultivate a deep sense of patriotism.

Moving forward, BISU will continue to encourage more students to engage in international exchanges, contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
