Leaders of BISU and CIEF have exchanges.

Li thanked CIEF for its ongoing support and guidance of BISU's Confucius Institute initiatives, highlighting the university's progress in international Chinese education.

Li also emphasized the university's commitment to advancing Confucius Institute projects, promoting the establishment of the "Global Tourism Confucius Institute Alliance," and creating an integrated "Chinese + Tourism" industry-academia-research-application mechanism.

CIEF's vice-president and secretary-general, Zhao Lingshan, commended BISU for its solid performance in international Chinese education. He particularly noted the university's proactive role in Confucius Institute development, which has facilitated global Chinese cultural dissemination and mutual understanding between civilizations.

Zhao added that CIEF will continue to support the university in leveraging its academic strengths to manage Confucius Institutes effectively, meet overseas Chinese learning needs accurately, promote the localization of teaching staff, and integrate Chinese into host countries’ national education systems.

Established in June 2020 in Beijing and overseen by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, CIEF is a national public foundation. Its mission is to advance international Chinese education, promote cultural exchanges, foster international understanding, and contribute to building a community with a shared future for mankind through enhanced exchanges between world civilizations.
