BISU holds conference on internationalizing education

Initiated by Beijing International Studies University (BISU), this year's Conference on Education Internationalization for Universities of International Studies and Foreign Trade was held in Tianjin on April 12.

The event aimed to promote collaboration and share experiences in educational internationalization among universities specializing in foreign languages and trade.

This year's Conference on Education Internationalization for Universities of International Studies and Foreign Trade kicks off in Tianjin on April 12.

At the forum, Zheng stated that the internationalization efforts of participating universities align with national strategies, focusing on the comprehensive training of talents in diplomacy, foreign affairs, foreign trade, and foreign languages for the new era. He highlighted that these experiences are distinctive, fruitful, and highly replicable.

Zheng emphasized that as a leading foreign language university, BISU is committed to facilitating cultural exchanges between China and other countries. As the conference and forum initiator, BISU will continue leveraging its resources, academic strengths, and geographical advantages to build a high-level platform for cooperation and exchange among foreign language and trade universities nationwide.

Representatives from the Ministry of Education's Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, and foreign language and trade universities across the country engaged in in-depth discussions on expanding international educational cooperation, establishing high-level exchange platforms, and supporting national strategies and regional economic development.
