The 2025 BYD Scholarship and Teaching Award Ceremony was held at Beijing International Studies University (BISU) on April 2.

Gong Bo, BISU's vice-president, expressed gratitude to the Chinese automaker BYD for its philanthropic efforts and congratulated the award recipients.

Gong highlighted that BISU prioritizes talent cultivation and actively promotes university-industry collaboration. He emphasized that the establishment of the BYD Scholarship and Teaching Awards not only provides financial incentives for students and teachers but also creates a vital platform for deepening collaboration and advancing cooperative education.

He committed that BISU looks forward to strengthening its partnership with BYD to build a long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial collaboration mechanism.

On behalf of BYD, Zhao Ying, the company's human resources recruitment manager, congratulated the student and teacher winners.

She stated that BYD is committed to social responsibility by giving back to the community and supporting educational development, aiding universities in cultivating well-rounded talents with international perspectives and strong professional capabilities.

She added that the establishment of this scholarship and teaching award is a significant step toward deepening university-industry cooperation and collaborative education; and BYD anticipates further collaboration with the university to jointly nurture more outstanding talents with solid professional skills.

During the event, Gong and Zhao presented certificates to the award recipients.

After a selection process from November 2025 involving personal applications, school assessments, and university committee reviews, five graduate students and 17 undergraduates, and four teachers were awarded the 2025 BYD Scholarship and Teaching Award, respectively.
