As the Year of the Horse approached, leaders of Beijing International Studies University (BISU) visited the campus on Feb 14 to extend festive greetings and distribute gifts to faculty members on duty and students staying at the university during the winter break.

The staff on duty join BISU leaders for a group photo to mark the occasion.
Li Biyou, secretary of the CPC BISU Committee, visited staff working on the front lines and expressed gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
The university leaders also engaged in warm conversations with both domestic and international students remaining on campus, exchanging New Year’s wishes.

Students showcase their calligraphy talents by writing "fu" characters—symoblizing blessing— and traditional couplets.
During their interactions, the leaders inquired about the students' holiday plans and career goals, encouraging them to make the most of their time, pursue academic excellence, and develop strong professional skills.
The leaders also emphasized the importance of serving as cultural ambassadors in cross-cultural exchanges and urged students to integrate knowledge with action and contribute to connecting China with the world.
Throughout the Spring Festival holiday, BISU planned over 10 festive events, including a New Year's gala featuring both Chinese and international students, and a New Year's Eve dinner.
Additional activities — such as dumpling making, temple fair visits, couplet writing and Peking Opera mask painting were also arranged to ensure on-campus students could experience the warmth and joy of the Spring Festival.
