BISU leaders visit Chinese Institute for Brain Research

Gong Bo, vice-president of Beijing International Studies University (BISU), led a delegation to the Chinese Institute for Brain Research (CIBR) in Beijing, on Jan 23, to promote deep collaboration in the interdisciplinary field of "Artificial Intelligence + Brain-Computer Interface".

During the meeting, Gong highlighted BISU's development history, disciplinary strengths, and willingness to collaborate, emphasizing the importance of university-institute collaborative innovation in the context of new humanities and new engineering disciplines.

Staff from BISU's Research Office and the School of Artificial Intelligence highlighted the university's research and strategic planning in multilingual intelligent processing, language health and brain-computer interfaces, and red cultural tourism.

CIBR Director Luo Minmin presented an overview of the institute. Researchers from the institute shared the latest achievements and service systems in decoding natural language brain-computer interface technology, sleep memory mechanisms, and high-performance computing resources.

Both sides reached a consensus on sharing computing resources, collaborating on research data, and jointly tackling technical challenge, planning to establish a liaison mechanism for brain-computer interface research to accelerate scientific collaboration.
