A project led by Beijing International Studies University (BISU) recently was selected as a typical application scenario for artificial intelligence in higher education by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission.

Titled "Construction and Application of Multilingual Film and Television Translation Vertical Models," the initiative is among only 20 such projects chosen citywide to advance "AI+Education" integration.

It is developed by the university's School of Artificial Intelligence and Language Sciences, and aims to cultivate exemplary AI-driven educational scenarios.

Leveraging BISU's strong linguistic discipline, the project precisely targets the niche area of multilingual film and television translation. It focuses on constructing and applying vertical models for this purpose, achieving precise implementation of AI technology in specific language scenarios and exploring new pathways for technology to empower cultural export.
