
The finals of the 3rd International Business Simulation Competition were held at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics from Dec 2 to 3. Two teams from Beijing International Studies University's (BISU) Business School, showcased exceptional business decision-making skills and teamwork, both winning first prizes.
This competition attracted international student teams from universities nationwide. BISU's Business School was represented by two teams.
The "Funny Cat" team, guided by Gu Xuehua, included Russian student Tamarkov Maksim, Moroccan student El Batoul Nejjaoui, Nigerian student Mac-david Chisom Oradiegwu, and Colombian student Tamayo Zapata Juan Camilo.
The "TOP Cat" team, led by Yang Jingwen, consisted of Moroccan student Aicha Souly, Mexican student Elianne Gonzalez Solis, and Pakistani students Uzma and Mishel Zahid. Both teams are part of the Master's program in Chinese Modernization and Urban Development.

The competition assessed participants' business acumen, risk management, and teamwork in simulated market environment. The excellent performance of BISU's teams is a strong testament to the university's success in cultivating business talents with a global perspective.
Participating students credited their success to the Master's program in Chinese Modernization and Urban Development, which offers specialized insights into China's socio-economic development. This unique perspective not only aids international students in understanding contemporary Chinese economic development but was also pivotal in the competition.
BISU plans to further innovate its international talent cultivation model, aiming to train more globally-minded professionals with expertise and cross-cultural communication skills.
