Beijing International Studies University (BISU) received a delegation led by Pichai Naripthaphan, deputy leader of Thailand's Pheu Thai Party and former minister of commerce on Sept 1.
Zheng Chengjun, vice-president of BISU and member of the Standing Committee of the university's CPC Committee, welcomed the delegation.

Zheng outlined the university's history and its academic programs. He also welcomed Pichai's recommendation for students to study at BISU, highlighting its long-standing tradition and strong expertise in international Chinese language education.
He expressed confidence that studying at BISU would offer students an enriching and rewarding experience.

Pichai expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. He said that China's remarkable development has drawn worldwide attention, making it an increasingly attractive destination for Thai students. Pichai and other delegation members also spoke about their families' connections with China.
After the meeting, the delegation toured the BISU campus to gain an overview of its academic and residential facilities.
