A launch ceremony of the blue book is held at BISU recently.

The inaugural blue book was developed and published by BISU and NITH. Based on eight years of research, the report delves into the new requirements and changes in the demand for tourism talent in China's tourism industry and the high-quality development of tourism education in China, focusing on both the demand side of talent in enterprises and the supply side of talent cultivation in education.

The blue book is divided into five parts: the general report, comprehensive section, demand section, supply section, and reference section. Based on extensive research data, it presents the current situation between the supply of talent in domestic tourism education and the demand for human resources development in tourism enterprises, providing scientific predictions and empirical research on the scale and quality of the requirements of tourism education talent.

Ji Jinbiao, deputy secretary of the CPC BISU Committee and president of the university, said that tourism talent is the primary resource and important support for the high-quality growth of the sector. The blue book is one of the achievements in response to the national strategies of "developing a quality workforce" and "building a strong tourism country", playing an important role in promoting innovation in China's tourism talent cultivation models.
