BISU advances cooperation with UCLan

Paul Rowe, director of international partnerships of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), and Ge Jifei, director of China Operations at UCLan, visited Beijing International Studies University (BISU) on Dec 2.

Zheng Chengjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC BISU Committee and vice-president of the university, met with the UClan delegation to discuss cooperation on integrated bachelor's and master's programs, integrated master's and PhD programs and overseas internships.

Zheng welcomed the delegation and reviewed the long-standing friendly cooperation and exchange history between the two universities. Both sides acknowledged the achievements in areas such as Confucius Institute and student exchange programs, reaching consensus on further advancing cooperation.

During the visit, Paul Rowe and his delegation toured BISU's history museum to gain a deeper understanding of the university's past, talent cultivation, discipline construction, social services, international presence and other achievements.
