BISU's research findings published at the 2024 Smart Tourism Exhibition

The 2024 Smart Tourism Exhibition was held at the Shougang Park in Shijingshan district, Beijing on Nov 22.

The 2024 Smart Tourism Exhibition is held at the Shougang Park on Nov 22.

Ji Jinbiao, deputy secretary of the CPC Beijing International Studies University (BISU) Committee and president of the university, presented a report entitled "Research Report on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Culture and Tourism Industry".

The report represents China's first systematic study on the application and development trends of artificial intelligence in the culture and tourism sector. It marks an important step forward for the application of artificial intelligence in the culture and tourism sector, providing powerful theoretical support for the application of AI-driven large models, and the digital transformation and high-quality development of the whole industry.

According to Ji, the report showcases BISU's efforts in serving the needs of the country and the industry. He said, in the future, BISU will continue to devote itself to the research and talent cultivation in digital cultural tourism, contributing to the high-quality development of the culture and tourism industry.

Held under the theme "Smart Tourism: New Models, New Energies, High Efficiency and High Quality", the event showcased the latest achievements of smart tourism, facilitate leadership and supply-demand coordination, accelerate the cultivation of new products, sectors and subjects, further enrich the supply of smart tourism and empower a better life. Over 400 representatives from the tourism industry attended the exhibition.

The conference was hosted by the Department of Resource Development of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and the Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality. It was organized by the Shijingshan District Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the China Culture & Entertainment Industry Association.
