A delegation from the Oregon Rhythmic Gymnastics & Dance Academy (ORGDA) recently came to China, spending 19 days visiting various places, including Fujian and Beijing. While in Beijing, they stopped by Beijing International Studies University (BISU).
Zheng Chengjun, a member of the standing committee of the CPC BISU Committee and vice-president of the university, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He emphasized that the university highly values international exchange and cooperation and expressed his hope that the youth of both countries would experience and appreciate each other's culture through this exchange and that greater understanding and communication would be fostered between the peoples of China and the US.

During the event, delegation members presented captivating performances, and the BISU Student Art Troupe performed Chinese drum music and Peking Opera. The delegation members also learned about Peking Opera and painted their impressions of China with ink on fans.

During their stay in Beijing, the delegation also visited cultural landmarks such as the Great Wall, the National Stadium and the National Aquatics Center, also known as the Water Cube, and they had extensive interaction with BISU student volunteers.

The US delegation traveled to China on the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the All-China Youth Federation and the People's Government of Fujian Province. BISU's International Exchange and Cooperation Office has provided ample support for the delegation's Beijing leg.
