BISU and UN Tourism's leaders meet online

A video meeting between Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and UN Tourism's leaders was held on March 12.

Chang Yu, secretary of the CPC BISU Committee, reviewed the collaboration between the two sides in online training, expert exchanges, and educational quality accreditation, hailing their practical cooperation.

He invited Executive Director of UN Tourism Natalia Bayona to lead a delegation to visit the university to share the dynamics of the industry and the latest academic advancement. He also expressed hope for more collaborative projects between the two institutions.

Bayona showed gratitude to BISU leaders for their invitation and spoke of her keen interest in engaging with young people, expressing her willingness to discuss tourism with experts and students at BISU.

She proposed initiating cooperative educational projects in the field of tourism, leveraging the brand of UN Tourism and the academic strengths of BISU.

Zheng Chengjun, a member of the standing committee of the CPC BISU committee and vice-president of the university, introduced the internationalization of the school and looked forward to deepening exchanges and cooperation with UN Tourism.

UN Tourism posted on its social media account about holding a video conference with Chang Yu to promote cooperation in tourism education.
