BISU leaders visit the students and staff on New Year’s Eve

The leaders of Beijing International Studies University (BISU) visited the students and staff who remained on campus on Feb 9, lunar Chinese New Year’s Eve.

Li Zhen, deputy secretary of the CPC BISU Committee paid visits to staff at different departments, sent them gifts and best wishes. Showing gratitude to the on-duty staff, he hoped them to fulfill their responsibilities and ensure their own safety.  

The faculty and staff expressed their gratitude for the school's concern. Devoted to their work, they will carry out various service and security tasks to ensure a safe and harmonious campus during the Spring Festival and winter break.

Zhang Yan, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC BISU Committee and vice-president of the university, attended the Spring Festival gala held for BISU students.

He extended New Year greetings to over 230 students who remained on campus. During the gala, international students performed classical dances, Chinese kung fu, and a medley of dances from various countries.

The event, themed around the "Year of the Dragon", also featured activities such as dumpling making, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
