New Year celebrations were held for foreign experts at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BISU) on Dec 22.
Ji Jinbiao, deputy secretary of the CPC BISU Committee and president of the university, extended his blessings to all foreign experts, expressing gratitude for their contributions.
He said that he hoped foreign experts would further integrate into BISU and recommend more experts and international students to come to teach, do research and study at the university.

Barbora Kollarova, a Slovakian language instructor and representative of foreign experts from the school of European Studies, presented a calligraphy piece of the Chinese character "Fu" (meaning "fortune"), written by herself, to Ji.
She thanked BISU's leaders in fluent Chinese for valuing the university's foreign experts and holding various activities for them.
Kollarova gives Ji a gift.

Zheng Chengjun, a member of the standing committee of the CPC BISU committee and vice-president also extended greetings to all the foreign experts and engaged in friendly conversations with them.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the lucky draw session. With each draw cheers followed, creating a festive ambiance.
