The third Belt and Road Forum on International Cooperation was held in Beijing from Oct 17 to 18. Dr. Sami Abu Aaai, a Syrian expert at Beijing International Studies University (BISU), attended the event.

Dr. Aaai, together with China and Arab youth, attended a seminar on the BRI at Peking University, and shared views on people-to-people connection at the BRI Forum with the UAE's minister of education, alongside a myriad of scholars, experts, and representatives from various organizations.
He emphasized the significant role Chinese enterprises have played in infrastructure and public welfare projects in Arab countries under the BRI, and highlighted the profound impact such endeavors have brought about in local regions. He also underscored the paramount importance of bolstering dialogue and exchanges between the younger generations of China and Arab countries.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the BRI, Dr. Aaai also expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards China for the unwavering support it extends to developing nations through the initiative.
