Fall job fair for graduates of 2024 held in BISU

A campus job fair was held for graduates of 2024 on Sept 19 at the Beijing International Studies University (BISU), marking the start of the fall recruitment.

The campus job fair

Eighty-one top companies and institutions participated in the job fair, including China Taly Aviation Technologies Corporation, Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd., China Textile & Apparel Press, BAIC Group, China Railway Construction Corporation (International) Limited, China Railway Construction Engineering Group, CNBM International and HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited Beijing Branch. 

Participating companies offered nearly 2,500 job positions in various sectors, such as education, culture, sports and entertainment, construction, manufacturing, communication, software and IT services, etc. The jobs range from translators, business managers, to tour operators, editors, legal officers, and trade representatives. 

More than 500 graduating students communicated with employers face to face to learn about the cultures, businesses and recruitment requirements of the companies, and they showed their skills and personal advantages. Moreover, experienced teachers from the career center provided guidance and resume editing services.

A visit to ZONE by BISU leaders

Leaders in BISU have been visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities. On Sept 12 and 14, the leaders   checked out ZONE, a public relations company and New Oriental Global Education and Training Office in Beijing. BISU signed a school-enterprise cooperation contract with New Oriental and the two sides decided to support each other in talents training and student employment.  

In the future, a series of campus fairs and career guidance activities will be held and the school-enterprise cooperation will be enhanced to better serve the students in job hunting and provide more and better jobs for them.
