On July 11, the results of the "Xiangyu Cup" Chinese College TV Awards were announced, and Beijing International Studies University (BISU) TV station was the winner.
BISU TV station submitted a total of 38 entries across various categories, including news, documentaries, and variety shows, all of which received awards.

Among these submissions, they secured 13 first prizes, 15 second ones, and 10 third ones. Moreover, they were rightfully honored with two outstanding works in the "Study and Implementation of the Spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress" theme, thus earning BISU the distinction of being the university with the most submissions and awards in this prestigious competition.
The "Xiangyu Cup" Chinese College TV Awards is a nationwide competition that showcases the talent and creativity of college students. Since its inception in 2010, this event has been led by China Education Television and organized by the College TV Professional Committee, gracing the screen once a year with remarkable student productions.
The "2022-2023 College Film and Television Works and Thesis Exchange and Screening Exhibition”, which kicked off in May 2023, was met with an enthusiastic response from member universities. A total of 2,063 film and television productions from 124 colleges were submitted for consideration. These entries spanned a wide spectrum, encompassing 314 news programs, 296 documentaries, 205 educational features, 126 teaching programs, 237 promotional videos, and 662 short films. Additionally, the event featured 178 variety shows and 45 hosts from 21 colleges who vied for the prestigious host awards.
This year's exhibition also featured a special category dedicated to recognizing outstanding works that embraced the theme of "Study and Implementation of the Spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress”. In this thematic category, a total of 161 entries were submitted, each capturing the essence of the subject matter.
BISU TV station, affiliated with Beijing International Studies University's Xiangyu Oriental News Agency, was established in 2003. With a primary focus on the university's students and faculty, the station dedicates itself to reporting major events, policies, grassroots initiatives, and producing a diverse array of campus life services and captivating variety programs. Serving as an indispensable platform for university news and publicity efforts, it also stands as a valuable training ground for students to hone their professional media skills, nurturing a wealth of outstanding media talents.
