Eric Sneessens is from Belgium. He holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Free University of Brussels and a master's degree in European Studies, specializing in European Union institutions and policies, from the University of Louvain. He is also certified in Didactics of French as a Foreign Language.

Since 2009, Eric has been teaching French language and culture to French major students in Chinese universities. He joined the French Department of BISU in 2020, where he is responsible for courses such as Oral French, French Written Comprehension, and Introduction to European Cultures. He has a passion for intercultural issues and thoroughly enjoys traveling throughout China.
