Tatiana Gimranova is from Russia. She graduated from Kazan Federal University in 1995 with a degree in Russian language and literature. In 2004, she successfully defended her PhD thesis, which focused on the linguistic features in Zoshchenko's works. Her areas of scientific interest encompass gender linguistics, methods of speech influence, the study of various discourse types, and teaching Russian as a Foreign language. Tatiana has published over 30 articles in Russian and international scientific journals. She possesses 15 years of experience teaching the Russian language to international students.
Since 2019, Tatiana has been working at BISU, where she has taught courses in listening, writing, stylistics, and other related subjects. Collaborating with her Chinese colleagues, she is currently involved in the development of a listening textbook. Furthermore, at the invitation of the Foreign Ministry of the People's Republic of China, she contributed to the Russian edition of "The SCO Blue Book."
In her personal life, Tatiana enjoys traveling, music, and theater.
