Anni Arukask is of Estonian nationality and holds a master's degree in classical philology from University of Tartu. Her research deals with the metrics of Sapphic poetry. Among her other interests are translation and its theory, history of the Estonian language, literature from any angle, and exploring distant and less distant cultures in both time and space. Currently, she is teaching the Estonian language at BISU.
