73 BISU volunteers contribute to the success of the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum
Updated: June 2, 2023

On May 25, the Zhongguancun Forum took place at the China National Convention Center, serving as a State-level platform for global scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation. This significant event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of 73 volunteers from Beijing International Studies University (BISU).

BISU carefully selected these outstanding volunteers, including six international students hailing from countries along the Belt and Road such as South Korea, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Kyrgyzstan. BISU volunteers provided unwavering support in various aspects, including conference coordination, guest invitation and reception, and venue services.

To ensure their preparedness, the volunteers underwent online training for the forum on May 14. They diligently studied general information about the event, familiarized themselves with the venue layout, learned about different volunteer groups and their respective requirements. The aim was to optimize the overall level of service provided during the forum. Additionally, the volunteers participated in field rehearsals and conducted site reconnaissance in batches, further refining their skills and becoming well-acquainted with the forum's operational aspects.
