A productive work promotion meeting for the National Research Center for International Cultural Exchanges (Cultural Trade) launched in Beijing. Over 100 cultural trade experts from various sectors gathered to exchange ideas and forge consensus, laying the groundwork for innovative development in cultural trade. Beijing International Studies University (BISU) as one of the member units designated by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee was the host.

During the meeting, Chen Jian, the general advisor of the center and former vice-minister of the Ministry of Commerce, emphasized the importance of future-oriented research, problem-solving, and a diligent and innovative approach. Professor Li Jiashan, secretary-general of the center, presented the center's work, highlighting its role as a high-end think tank for international cultural trade and its mission to enhance China's international cultural influence.
The event also featured an appointment ceremony for researchers, member units, and regional research centers. Experts discussed the implementation of the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and promoting the high-quality development of China's international cultural trade.
The National Institute of Cultural Development based in BISU is one of the organizers of the meeting.
