Since the start of the new semester, BISU has rapidly accelerated its internationalization efforts. In recent developments, BISU has established partnerships with several world-renowned universities, such as the University of Stirling (UoS), Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), and Hanyang University.

HKBU is listed as the 281st university in the 2023 QS World University Rankings and is renowned for its wide range of disciplines that rank in the top 200 worldwide. These disciplines include accounting, finance, computing, mathematics, and statistics.

Headquartered in Seoul, Hanyang University is a private comprehensive university that ranks third among South Korean universities in the general rankings according to South Korean newspaper Korea JoongAng Daily.

As student exchange programs and international student enrollment gradually resume, BISU has renewed cooperation agreements and restarted collaboration projects with globally renowned comprehensive and specialized universities. These include St. Petersburg State University (SPBU) in Russia, the University of California (UC) in the United States, and ESSEC Business School in France.
SPBU, one of the oldest universities in Russia, is a hub for education, science, and culture in the country. It holds the second position in overall strength among federal universities in Russia.
