Qipao show at BISU inaugurates Chinese cultural base
Updated: April 4, 2023

The qipao, a traditional Chinese dress, holds great cultural significance. It is now possible to see overseas students donning this iconic outfit at a newly established base that promotes Chinese culture.

On April 2, the Qipao Art Committee of the Chinese Cultural Promotion Society and the School of Chinese Culture and Communication at Beijing International Studies University (BISU) organized a stunning qipao show.

This event not only provided an immersive experience of Chinese culture but also served as a platform for academic exchange among qipao art masters and scholars. Furthermore, it also marked the establishment of the Chinese Culture Practice Base for Chinese and Foreign Students at the university.

BISU is a well-known higher education institution that specializes in foreign languages and tourism. The newly established base will undoubtedly facilitate the promotion of traditional Chinese culture and foster communication and integration between Chinese and foreign cultures.
