The Journal of Beijing International Studies University has been chosen again as a core language journal in the field of linguistics through AMI evaluation system. This was announced at the 10th National Humanities and Social Sciences Summit Forum and Journal Evaluation Report Release Conference held in Beijing on March 17.
The evaluation system assesses academic journals based on three aspects: attraction, management, and impact.
Out of 2,168 journals evaluated this year in the field of humanities and social sciences, the Journal of BISU was chosen again as a core journal in the AMI evaluation system, which reflects the academic community's recognition.
The university has placed significant emphasis on developing and improving its academic journals in recent years. This year, the journal's impact factor saw a substantial increase to 0.23, and its influence ranking among 64 language journals in the CNKI database rose to 25th place.
