In his speech titled “Promoting Educational and Cultural Exchanges and Tightening Sino-foreign People-to-people Bonds”, Zheng introduced BISU’s engagement in international talent training.
Speaking on the university’s achievements and experience in international education in recent years, Zheng made special mentions of five aspects: innovating foreign exchange and cooperation in education, establishing an international talent training system, valuing regional, national and cross-cultural research, giving play to the advantages of international exchange platforms, and providing abundant social practice opportunities.
International talent training is a complicated framework which requires international knowledge, concepts and expressions, Zheng said, adding that he has confidence in international talent cultivation and global exchanges in the post-pandemic era.
