It has nearly 30 part-time teachers in ideological and political courses. The school has five teaching and research departments and one ideological and political studio.
The school is one of the first demonstration sites of ideological and political theory education and teaching reform among Beijing universities. It is a member of the collaborative innovation center of study of Marxism in 21st Century in China. So far, its politics and law teachers have been carrying out three projects of the National Social Science Fund of China and four provincial-level projects. In the last five years, the school’s teachers published a number of articles on Studies on Marxism and in Guangming Daily as well as issued more than 10 books.
The school has invited experts to carry out academic activities and conferences to broaden scientific research and enhance academic communication.
The school focuses on “international communication in the Chinese way”, actively building the discipline system, the teaching system and the discourse system. It works hard to cultivate students, trying to build itself into a high-level university of foreign languages with distinctive Beijing characteristics.
