The Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games kicked off in Beijing on March 4. The eyes of the world were again on Beijing, the inaugural dual Olympic city. The opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Paralympics, with the theme of "Blooming Life", explained the spiritual core of continuous self-improvement and unity. At the opening ceremony, the colorful rhythm expressed a warm and touching emotion.

The 217 teachers and students from our school will continue to serve the Beijing Winter Paralympics. In Beijing and its suburb Yanqing District, volunteers will perform a variety of roles in media operations, language services, concierge services, national(regional) Paralympic Committee assistants, International Paralympic Committee services, Winter Paralympic village management, hotel accommodation services, transportation services, etc., a total of 8 types of positions. The service locations are located in Yanqing Winter Paralympic Village, National Alpine Ski Center, Capital Airport and other 22 venues and hotels. During the Winter Paralympics, volunteers will give full play to their language advantages, provide language services in 14 languages including English, French, Russian, German, etc., and show the youthful demeanor of young people of BISU with calm, self-confidence and selfless dedication. 

In the Yanqing Winter Paralympic Village, 103 volunteers served as assistants to delegations from 37 ,countries(regions), of whom 91 teachers and students come from Beijing International Studies University, which is the main source of NPC assistants in the Yanqing competition district. 

With the success of the closing ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games, the beautiful story of me and delegations came to a successful conclusion. When the Winter Paralympic volunteers were selected, I did not hesitate to sign up because I wanted to experience this beauty again: friends from all over the world to support and encourage each other. I like waving hello to passers-by, helping delegations solve problems, welcoming and facing challenges with other volunteers, and communicating with teachers. All of these stories are unfinished in the Winter Olympics and will continue to go on in the Winter Paralympics. Meanwhile, working as a volunteer has made me appreciate the charm of language deeply. I can tell the “Chinese story” with my own professional knowledge, which has added infinite motivation for my future study. 

After waving goodbye to Bing Dwen Dwen, Yanqing Village has ushered in Shuey Rhon Rhon again. After bidding farewell to the Winter Olympics, the quiet mountain gradually became lively again. Large and small cars came one after another. Athletes from various countries came to the village with the breath of spring. They made the Winter Paralympic Village warm in the snow. The Winter Paralympics provides a large-scale sports arena for the disabled groups in the world, where athletes constantly surpass themselves, work hard, and show amazing perseverance and determination to the world. The Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics is another major event for Beijing, the city of dual Olympics, and a window to show the world the vigor of Chinese youth. Although I am facing the pressure of graduation, I still choose to participate in the service work of the Winter Paralympics and dedicate my modest strength to our motherland. As the generation of the Winter Olympics, we will definitely live up to expectations, show the vigor of the youth in the new era. I hereby wish the Winter Paralympic Games a complete success!

After a short break, I went back to volunteering. On the basis of serving the Winter Olympics, I hope that while doing my job better, I can capture more beautiful moments in the process of serving the Paralympic Games. I’m looking forward to witnessing miracles with the world and witnessing the birth of more champions！

Ten volunteers on transportation of arrivals and departures, wearing protective clothing, took on the task of escorting the delegation to the Winter Paralympic Village after the arrival of the delegation. They mastered the principles of serving disabled athletes and provided caring services. 

In the process of volunteering, I saw the enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the athletes. Watching them face life and the upcoming Winter Paralympics with the most positive attitudes made me feel the spirit of the Winter Paralympics even more. This allows me to bravely move forward without fear of difficulties when facing various challenges. Director Zhang Yimou said that the opening ceremony of the Winter Paralympics will be colorful, and I also hope that my life experience will become more colorful through the volunteer service of the Winter Paralympic Games. I will do every volunteer service well and feel the "bloom of life" with my heart.

42 professional volunteers for media operations serve the media of various countries in Yanqing Winter Olympic Village and Alpine Ski Center, provide media workers with technical support and event information services needed for interviews, and spread the news of the Winter Paralympics from the media center to all over the world.

Looking at the cool and determined figures of the Winter Paralympic athletes on the snow in the camera, I couldn't help but sigh in my heart for their strength! Disability only binds their bodies, but cannot bind their minds and fighting spirit. Their actual deeds showed the world that as long as their hearts are tough, they will not be afraid of any storms! I also want to learn from them, move forward bravely in the arena of life, fight for a better future, never bow down and never admit defeat!

After an eight-day transition period, we were back at the alpine skiing stadium, well-prepared to serve the Paralympic Games. In the past Winter Olympics service, although my body was a little tired, my spirit was always high, and I was grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the Winter Paralympic Games. We will definitely carry out the sense of responsibility of BISUers and the enthusiasms and vitality of the Chinese youth. On the occasion of the opening of the Winter Paralympic Games, I wish every athlete good results and hope that my volunteer journey will come to a perfect end.

In the hotel accommodation service, concierge service and other positions, there are also BISU volunteers. 

The new semester has arrived, and the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics has kicked off. As a hotel lodging assistant, although I don't have the opportunity to see the athletes' competitive demeanor on the field, I will pass on the service and dedication of the volunteers from BISU to the world in my work position, and show the demeanor of contemporary Chinese youth. The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics came to a close, leaving good memories for people all over the world. I will never forget the Chinese spirit and style displayed by the Chinese athletes on the field. As an honorable volunteer, I will continue to serve the Beijing Winter Paralympics with enthusiasm and full spirit and keep my post. I wish the conference a complete success, and look forward to seeing the Chinese athletes show their demeanor in the Paralympic Games!
